August Highlights – Tremendous Progress

Calling Corrupt Police to Repentance:

My German friend’s phone was stolen. Cambodian police told him they wouldn’t help him unless he paid every police officer $10 each. There were 10 of them. He paid $100, and suddenly his phone appeared.

Most people just pay the bribe. I have refused to pay bribes.

That is why corrupt police stand against me. I have suffered to remain faithful to the Lord.

Recently I called another pack of policemen to repentance for trying to scam me. Click below to watch a video excerpt.

My authority to correct those walking in abominations comes from the Lord Jesus Christ, who has authority over all.

Call me Pastor.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7

New Castaway Baptist Location:

It’s been a long month. But much progress has been made… Praise the Lord!

A whole lot of lighting was added to brighten up the place, empower Bible reading, etc. Much better. Photos don’t do it justice.

Just a few more “before & after” examples…

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4

March Highlights – Earthquake

I walked the streets of Bangkok last week, warning prostitutes of coming judgment – ‘…The Lord will return to judge… Must repent, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!’

Out of the blue, an American man confronted me, shouting in my face, ‘What you just did was wrong! You should go back there and apologize to those women! You are a horrible human! You are a horrible human!! …’

He was shouting himself into a frenzy. It seemed inevitable that he would throw a punch. If so, I knew the Lord would be pleased with me for suffering for Him.

I replied, ‘I’m accountable to the Lord Jesus Christ and to Him alone. I am not here to please you. Do you understand that?’

“If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.” 1 Peter 4:14

Two days after the Lord led me out of Bangkok (i.e. Sodom), the earthquake hit. I didn’t look back, but my wife did (spiritually speaking).

“Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.” Luke 17:32-33

Job lost all he had but remained faithful to the Lord through it all. Job’s wife and self-righteous peers figured Job ‘had a few things to learn.’

In reality, those who judged faithful Job had a few things to learn. The Lord humbled them before his faithful servant Job.

“But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.”   1 Peter 4:15

Remaining silent and withholding information is the same as joining them.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.”   Ephesians 5:11

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'” Mark 16:15

February Highlights – The Push

Calling people out of sin and dead religion to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the core mission of the church.

When witnessing to a Catholic in the U.S., it is the responsibility of the witness to meet them where they are – to share that idolatry and praying to/through spirits of the dead is sin that leads to hell.

The same applies when witnessing to Buddhists in Cambodia.

Evangelism RISKS relationships, job security, reputation, power and money.

My peers refuse to do it. Instead, they search high and low for ways to prove they are “a good person” or spiritually superior. For example:

1) Reminiscent of the scribes and Pharisees, many continually imply they are morally purer than others (Matt 23:27-28).
2) Many cling to a certain Bible translation they feel makes them superior.
3) Some “debate endless genealogies” (Titus 3:9), such as specifics around when the Lord will rapture the church.
4) Others go from one church conference to another trying to find satisfaction in “Christian community,” since Christ does not offer peace and joy to the disobedient.

Anything to avoid simple obedience…

“… Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice …” 1 Samuel 15:22

BUT The Word of God calls us to RISK IT ALL! PUT CHRIST ABOVE ALL ELSE.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Youth must follow me.

Every Sunday afternoon, we hit the streets to share the gospel together…

“Brethren, I urge you to become like me…” Galatians 4:12

Sharing the gospel with those who struggle with gender identity…

Sharing the gospel with prostitutes and homeless people…

“Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38
